Who we are
VOLUX is a product of LAXXY Technology Ltd, registered in New Zealand and operating from Hamilton. When we say “we” or “VOLUX”, we mean LAXXY Technology Ltd.
What information we collect
- Account information — your name, email and password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email from your Google account.
- Usage data — how many exports you have used, your plan and render credits, and account creation date.
- Payment information — processed entirely by GoHighLevel and its payment processor. We never store your card number. We receive a customer ID and your plan and render credits from GoHighLevel and its payment processor.
- Images you upload — processed entirely in your browser. Never uploaded to our servers. We cannot access any image you open in VOLUX.
- Device and browser data — aggregated, anonymised analytics via Firebase. Not linked to your identity.
Your images
Relighting, trace and export run in your browser. The images you use for those features are never sent to us.
When you request an AI master render or a V.Create image, that image and the accompanying prompt are sent to our rendering service and to third-party AI image processing providers in order to produce the result. They are not used to train models. The result is stored in your account history until you delete it.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To track your export usage and enforce plan limits.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send product updates if you have subscribed to our mailing list.
- To improve VOLUX using aggregated, anonymised analytics.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not use your information to serve advertisements.
Third-party services
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database and hosting. Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
- GoHighLevel (GHL) — email marketing, CRM and payment processing. Subject to GHL’s Privacy Policy.
- Third-party AI image processing providers — used only to produce renders you request.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict processing of your personal information. Contact us at info@laxxy.co.nz. We will respond within 20 working days.
Cookies & local storage
VOLUX uses browser local storage to store your export usage count and session state. This data never leaves your device. Your render history is stored in your Firebase account. Firebase may set authentication cookies necessary for the service to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
